I have a prototype set for Innovation’s Psycho Slaps (if that’s what they ultimately market them as) very satisfied with them, has every quality I’ve been after in a string. if ever I have money for a second bass though that would get all gut strings and get babied. I’m not fond of the gauges of D & G steels, and I’d rather not mix sets. I did however, hear a set of bumped spirocores that sounded really good on The Quakes current bassist’s bass.
