Only a few more weeks till the “Psycho Slaps” are available, I’d recommend those if you like the sound of the Silver Slaps
Ive been reading what everyone has been saying about them but are there any sound clips or videos of these in action yet?
Welcome to the board. Found your myspace and website, guessing you guys dont have anything recorded yet? Always up for checking out new bands.
Yeah I hear silverslaps are great once worked in, you may want to give them some time if you havent already.
Apparently the E wacker on the set of superior wackers is a lot better than most. Not sure what type of wackers you tried or if they were self made but you may want to check into them, they are cheap and everyone seems to be saying really good things about them.
If your not on rockabillybass.com you can check the string forum there and there is a big thread about them and what people think about them and compare them to. I believe they come as a 5 string set as well so you can bump them even if you wanted to.
Welcome to the board. Sounds like your a bit ahead of me on the string journey. Got some of the superior wackers on the way but from what I have been hearing I think silver slaps will be the next set I try.
Welcome, and your english sounds better than mine most of the time.
Hey, welcome to the board
If the main page is slow as well I would try a trace to the site itself, could be a routing issue.
if your not sure how just go to start – run – type in cmd and then in the dos window type in “tracert https://www.artofslapbass.com”
see what it shows for the times, for me im getting 84ms right now which isnt too bad.
See what you are getting for that, if that is fine then can throw you some other stuff that could be an issue.
Is it only the forum thats slow for you or is the main page slow as well?
Working great here for me here at work as well as when I was at home using a different ISP.
You will probably get better results putting this in one of the general forums instead of the classifieds.
I dont have much experience with markbass for rockabilly so not sure but have tried a few with electric bass and they sounded great.
Well they sound great, I would definitly give them a try when you get them out there.
No idea what was said above but welcome aboard Strahinja
Welcome aboard, I know the feeling, now im on 3 sites where all I do is talk about bass and music….atleast it kills time at work
