PLEASE, no glue! the sandpaper trick works killer, just be careful not to rock the bridge back and forth in the process. You want nice square edges on those feet.
score the bottom of the feet with a pencil every few passes, that way you can check for high spots without taking too much off. Be patient!
Guts rock! but for practical reasons i like my eurosonics on my gigging bass, I played steels for years so the tension is great, I find the tuning is very stable. if my drunk a** can beat them like I caught them breaking in to my house for a whole night with no problems and no maintenance, then rock on.
