Hey guys, this is Glenn from Fredneck MD. Been playing electric for 30 years but have been a closet “billy” fan for a long time. I picked up an Engelhardt Swingmaster from Fretwell about a year ago but I’m now just getting into the slap thang. I had a Six Round pickup on the thing with a set of Innovation Slaps but the feedback was driving me nuts so I put on a set of Spirocore Solo’s, added an adjustable bridge and went with a Krivo pickup. Really havnt played with this set up that much yet but hopefully will be soon.
Anyone have suggestions on what to set the string height at ?? Before I got the adjustable bridge I was banging the crap out of my finger tips on the fingerboard, dont know if thats normal or just my lack of technique….
