Well I’ve made the jump after 16 years of the guitar ….. 4 days in and I can double already….. Still waiting on my new strings ….My fingers will love the mail lady…Any good advice hit me up….I have a mid 50s Kay I found in a friends basement…. Free = awesome …. I took it in and had it set up and the guy was a retard…..So Looking for any advice on getting those strings close to my board…… and if anyone has any triple slap advice shoot …..Wanted to say how great this site it ….. All you Cats and Kittens keep pulling those strings …… I have found my musical true love thanks again …. :woohoo:
Using steels for now …. Ordered some from Superior Bassworks about 2 weeks ago and still waiting to try those…..I check everyday in the mailbox and disappointment…… So next time I’ll roll with gut and weedwackers….. I’ve tried a bunch to get ahole of Bassworks with no returned answers …..
Did you get the strings? I know they were going through an owner/management change or whatever and were really delayed when I ordered mine but still got them reasonably fast.
You will slap up a storm going from steels to those.
