I am TommyZ from Buffalo, NY. I have played electric bass for over 20 years touring in lots of unknown bands playing mostly blues. I finally got back into upright bass 5 years ago. I play with a local rockabilly band, Pete Worden and the Hardtimers. I also do a lot of jazz fill-in gigs and play regularly with local jazz guitar legend Frank Gerard. Wife, kids and work make it pretty tough to travel.
Since I am on the East Coast its pretty dang tough to get a decent rockabilly honkytonk band going. I pretty much stick with jazz and throw in the slap when I can.
