Hey, newly registered, thought I’d say hello.
My name is Cory, I’m currently living in Florida, on the west coast. I’ve been playing upright for 13 years, bass for 20.
I’ve most recently done two tours playing with The Hillbilly Hellcats. I’ve also played for The Downshifters, and a couple fill-in gigs with the Psycho Devilles.
Current gear lineup-
1955 Ernst Heinnemann Roth hybrid bass, with Superior Bassworks custom dyed strings, a K&K Rockabilly Slap Special Plus pickup, through Whirlwind cables into an Ampeg SVT200T head, Ampeg 4×10 and 1×15 cabs, and a H&K guitar amp for the clicks.
In the process of either taking over Superior Bassworks, or starting my own string company making nylon strings for rockabilly and bluegrass.
