Hello, Im playing a Kore solid top with CHEAP strings and CHEAP pickups. The band Im in does kinda Punk with Jazz stylings and I was wondering, when I can upgrade, if I could get some suggestions, or even just general direction, on what equipment I should look into.

Sorry it took so long, Im playing with bottom line weed wackers and a 6 round rockabilly recoil through a big ass fender amp, i like the “thud” sound of the kevlar strings but they have no sustain. If it helps look up Akasha and The Devils Train on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WXzVk5uhk8 and you can get a genral idea of what i sound like and maby what what i want to sound like.
